Jon Swiler and Pat Reedy are the latest graduates of the Dodge School of Transmissioneering. This rigorous five day training academy prepares the student for all aspects of power transmission applications. In this school, the students learn all of the various bearing styles and configurations that are offered, shaft couplers, gearing and gear reduction, belt drives, chain and sprocket drives, conveyor system components, and more.

Not every student who attends this school leave as graduates, but we're proud to say that Jon and Pat did quite well and are now equipped to provide our customers with the latest, most up to date information and service in this important field of work.

Jon Swiler, inside/outside sales engineer, has just returned from a one week Lincoln Lube System School, where he was certified as a Lincoln Centromatic Engineer. Jon previosly attended Lincoln Pump School for pump repair and diagnostics. In preparation for the retirement of Tom Cathey, Pat Kavanagh has been named General Manager. Pat has been with Cathey Company for 14 years and has worked in all departments within the company, including eight years as warehouse manager and three in outside sales. Pat's focus on customer service brings an "old school" approach to how business is done, and that attitude will be reflected throughout the company as he leads us into the future.
